Bell Micro has been distributing IBM Software products since 2000. Originally, as Open Computing and PSL, we were the UK distributors for Informix Software Ltd and now as Bell Micro we are the only distributor in the UK to offer Informix products, along with the other Information Management, Lotus, Tivoli and WebSphere products through IBM’s OEM channel.
In addition to supplying IBM Software products, in 2003 Bell Micro became an IBM Hardware distribution partner supplying System p and System storage products. We aim to make it easier to identify, fulfil and support IBM business through the channel and as a Bell Micro Business Partner the resources available to you are extensive, from marketing and pre-sales support to post sales implementation.
Both our Software and Hardware businesses work closely with our colleagues at IBM so in addition to the support and resources at Bell Micro you also have direct access to sales and technical expertise at IBM.

ISV Marketing programme - Maximation
Maximation is a programme that brings together independent software vendors (ISVs), business partners, key vendors, and Bell Micro. Through collaboration, Bell Micro create cross-selling coalitions to enable the reach in the channel, that offer partners a simple and effective route to new business opportunities. Maximation incorporates existing IBM ISV initiatives together with Bell Micro complementary vendors, building upon their proven market experience to enable solutions-led opportunities and incremental revenue streams in both the SMB and enterprise sectors. Maximation provides the actual resources required to develop and implement new go-to-market campaigns from marketing personnel to print, online and telemarketing skills.
